Endermotherapie® effectively treats pain and post-surgical
ileus.
Similarly, for plastic surgery, it is not only a perfect
complement to liposuction because it tempers the residual
"orange peel" look but, when used for prevention, can also
help better prepare tissues for surgery. It reduces surgical
sequelae and helps achieve the desired result.
Another therapeutic indication could be lymphoedema which
develop after some surgeries or radiation treatments.
Lymphoedema is a condition characterised by a vicious circle
where the initial oedema and the fibrosis feed off each
other and wreak havoc. The affected body part becomes
swollen, painful and loses its functionality, leading to
aesthetic and psychological problems. Clinical treatment for
this highly debilitating pathology has classically been
based on manual lymph drainage.
Endermotherapie® provides drainage, and also acts on the
tissue fibrosis. It helps to break the vicious
oedema-fibrosis cycle, by reducing the oedema, the
circumference of the affected body part. The body part is
remodelled, noticeably improving joint flexibility. The
result is a clear gain in your quality of life.
Endermotherapie® Scars & Burns
Following trauma or surgery, "good"
healing is a functional and aesthetic goal.
However this healing process often goes amiss, leaving ugly
scars that are often debilitating characterised as straps or
adhesions, hypertrophy or loss of joint amplitude. These
complications can be avoided by mobilising the scar early on
to guide the healing process from the start.
Endermotherapie® can play a decisive role in this phase. It
can act once the
epidermal formation on the scar tissue is complete,
guaranteeing that mobilisation is painless throughout,
without pinching or uncontrolled pulling, unlike manual
procedures.
Endermotherapie® has been shown to be effective on all
scars, whether old or new, superficial or deep. It also acts
on adhesions that can cause functional handicaps, especially
of the hands.
Endermotherapie® promotes painless and non-traumatising
tissue mobilisation. Inflammation is reduced, skin
elasticity is improved, joint mobility is recovered and the
patient derives aesthetic benefits. The skin appears less
rigid and its colour and pigmentation are closer to those of
normal skin.
After surgery, trauma or a burn the
skin forms scar tissue. There can be numerous consequences,
often unsightly or handicapping.
Scar tissue, old or new, is a barrier that hinders blood
circulation and exchanges between the cells and is often
binding. It can limit joint movement, a result of fat
accumulation, and is frequently the cause of pain.
Endermotherapie® can assist in helping to eliminate
fibrosis. By lifting the skin without pinching, it mobilises
the tissue without trauma to quickly free adhesions, boost
energy and ease pain.
Bioptron Pro can also assist in the healing process.
Bioptron light therapy can be used as a complimentary or
monotherapy treatment for wound therapy. Bioptron Light
Therapy stimulates and modulates reparative and regenerative
processes. It stimulates light sensitive intracellular
structures and molecules and initiates cellular chain
reactions not only limited to the treated skin area.
Caesarean Scars and other
abdominal scars are efficiently treated using Endermologie.
Burn Scars including grafts
